Earwigs

Earwigs

  • Classification of service:  covered under General Pest Control
  • These insects have a flat dark brown/black body with distinct “pinchers” at the back of their body.
  • They can be up to an inch long and primary live outdoors but become occasion invaders inside due to high populations and weather conditions.  Sealing up cracks/seals does help prevent them from coming in.
  • These insects also like dark places (under rocks, mulch) and they feed primarily at night on arthropods and decaying organic matter.
