Pill Bug, Rolly Polly

  • They are crustaceans which make them more similar to a shrimp or crawfish.
  • They feed on decaying vegetable matter and found under mulch and debris of all kinds.
  • They are an occasion invader, nuisance pest.
  • They are more commonly called “rolly polly” because they roll up when disturbed.
